Ever find yourself wondering when the last time was you had time for yourself? Ahhhhh...then you have it...it was yesterday, and all five minutes of that time was spent in the bathroom. In fact, that wasn't even time to yourself either, with the kids constantly shouting questions through the door, until you felt that you were running a help desk instead of taking a few moments of time to shut yourself in the bathroom.

If that's the way you've been feeling lately as a work at home mom, then it's time that you work on finding time for yourself. Yes, I know it's difficult, as I experience this myself, but you just have to do it. It's so easy to just get busy with work and a family and forget to take time for yourself, discovering things about yourself that you misplaced along the way.

Perhaps you've forgot your love for black and white movies, reruns of I Love Lucy, or your penchant for sappy love songs. Maybe it's been months since you've read a few chapters from a good book, or too long since you've relaxed by yourself in a bath of warm water and bubbles with soft music in the background.

It sounds simple, but for work at home moms, time to yourself is essential. How else are you supposed to recharge and continue to go on without it? So, don't think of time for yourself as something that is a luxury, but you need to make it a priority. Start taking a few minutes of time to yourself each day and you'll find that you are happier, more productive, and more thankful for all that you have in your life.
